Why the fuck would Monkey Island 3 be the best in the series?? It's the chapter that DESTROYED the series, by taking a well-crafted pirate story designed by Ron Gilbert in the style of Roman Polanski's "Pirates" and turning it into a meaningless confusing carnival with stereotyped cartoon characters.
Toonstruck, a solid game and with a few exceptions, the humor and stereotypes still hold up. Not to mention a literal hollywood cast (christopher lloyd, ben stein) with some of the greatest voice actors of all time, including Jim Cummings, Tress Macneille, and Dan Castellaneta.
"There's this one game I'm trying to remember from when I was a little kid (early 90's). Literally, the only things I can remember about it is this…It's a pc game. These 2 chicks (might have been princesses) who look exactly alike are fighting each other in one of those cartoony cloud fights (all you see is a cloud with fists and stuff). You're supposed to click on the right one (I think), or you lose… The game might have been medieval themed. I have a hard time remembering any details about the game itself. I was extremely little. Just remember me and my sister taking turns playing it. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be greatful."
I NEED HELP! I forgot the name of my favourite point and click game, It was only a demo but it had a female protagonist and was first person, where you crashed your helicopter in a desert and there was this old civilisation and I cant remember it's name please help!

To me Maniac Mansion: The Day of the Tentacle is superior than the best Monkey Island ever made. The characters are so much better than Guybrush. The puzzles make sense, there's logic behind them.
The monkey island series features really counterintuitive stuff, especially the Curse of. Besides the fact that at the time the game looked beautiful, I scratch my head wondering what exactly made people like that game so much. The solutions to the puzzles are stupid and the only thing the game often leaves you with is brute force trial and error literally every item on every pixel on the screen. And when you finally discover something new, you're almost always instantle stuck again. Very frustrating tbh.
One that I love to play from time to time is Shadowgate on the nes. Even tho I know that game like the back of my hand it's still a joy to beat and I felt equally as excited to beat it yesterday as I did the first time I beat it.
Monkey Island, omfg dude !!!!! I used to play this game as a kid before I even knew how to speak in English, this is actually the game where I first started improving my English skillz, and and for many many many years I was trying to find this game until I gave up as I couldnt find it…I am 28 years old now and I remember playing this game when I was 5-6 years old maybe…. i remember arm wrestling that pirate where you was supposed to make him laugh so that you win. And a swamp, finally………..I randomly stumbled upon this video and I recognized the guy from the thumbnail right away ! I cant explain how you made me feel right now, thank you so much man
The Dig is one of the best games I ever played! Than there is lucas arts indiana jones series, flight of the amazon queen, broken sword and many more missing on this list
I'm searching for an old point and click adventure I played as a kid in the early 2000's (in Germany/EU if that is important) where you start on an island and you came there with some sort of spaceship thingy I think, and then you go into a house where a recorder is beeping, after clicking it an old man is explaining how you can solve the grand puzzle on that island or something, I don't remember it that well anymore, but I know it had something to do with a volcano. Oh yeah also it's first person view. Can somebody help me pls?
