I love Wadjet Eye Games (Technobabylon) and can't wait for more games. I'm always shocked how I'm wowed by 16 bit graphics but the art design and background setting blow my mind. And the fantastic story telling is fantastic. The only problem I have is that they are too sort and the puzzles aren't that hard but then I think that is a good thing (for each point) too.
These all look amazing. It's an aesthetic and version of playing that I love. Exploring vast, somewhat familiar world's but with a new/imaginative take. Now…could someone send me a playstation?

I feel like Until Dawn should be on this list, and near the top. It's a great horror adventure game that shouldn't be missed. I grabbed it for a couple days from a Redbox, and I would have missed it if I had not had the ability to pick it up cheap. It is worth buying though, great game.

I really really hated life is strange, for all your choices mattering so much your choices are extremely limited. Not only that but to me the writing and dialogue is awful, it had a few good moments but some things I couldn't hold to. Not only that but often times I found myself forgetting that about the main mechanic that the whole game was completely centered around. A game should not be designed so that you forget the main fucking mechanic. Not only that but I'm from oregon and I find the tropes represented to be stupid and annoying, PORTLAND IS NOT ALL OF OREGON GOD DAMN IT. People see fit to attach it to every portion of the state which is fucking retarded. The one thing that really turned me off though and I'll try to do this my best without spoiling it for those who want to play it, a friend throws the main character under the bus and then you're basically just expected to go back and talk to this person like you're still friends. If this game was so about choice I wouldn't fucking talk to that asshole ever again. I didn't even finish the first chapter of the game because it irritated me too much, the design is awful, and the story is really not that great.

i dont see how point and click linear graphical interactive novels have anything to do with adventure. they are nearly as linear as a book. where is the adventure so to speak.
