  3. It never occurred to my mind that's my steam library is not mine forever.

Been wanting to buy from FireFlower for years, one of the reasons I haven't yet is that although I love the DRM-free versions sold, it makes it harder to keep track of what games you buy/download/obtain because they don't just show up in Steam, GOG Galaxy, … by default. I know there are ways around that, or other launcher software that can hold games from various libraries including local files, but it does present an accessibility barrier in these times.
