ABOUT THE SERIES
Is it possible to 100% an MMO? That is exactly what Renaissance Gaming attempts to do in this project. This series is split up into seasons. Each season covers every quest and every deed for one region. Join the fellowship and experience the best and most under-rated MMO of all times, The Lord of the Rings Online. You can find a spreadsheet that contains every quest, deed, and completion status for all regions of the game at

ABOUT THE GAME
The only massively-multiplayer role-playing game set in J.R.R. Tokien’s Middle-earth. Travel with your Fellowship in the fight against the forces of Sauron. Across the wide lands of Middle-earth, the Free Peoples must face the threatening Shadow growing in the East. All of Mordor is stirring as Sauron dispatches the Nazgûl to hunt for the Ring. The rumor of war brings forth many eager adventurers who will find their place among the great events of the Third Age.
100% like ratio. Nice.
LotRO is criminally underrated because it does not cater to the I want it all and I want it now and I want it fast players. Thankfully those types quickly move on to other games. While LotRO still has it's kill stealers (Ranged characters that tag a mob that your character whether melee -have to run up to-or using an induction skill on) and node thieves (taking only the wood or ore and leaving what is left) it is still a superior game. I too have played since closed beta off and on. (Lifetime Subscription) I also played another criminally underrated MMO by Turbine, Asheron's Call. AC/LotRO are the best MMO's that "I" have played.
If you are a Tolkien or Lord of the Rings fans you will love it. If not try it and see. Lotro does not reward Power or Rush leveling it penalizes it. You are best fighting mobs that that are at or only a few levels above or below your own. Too high-No Experience, Too low-No Experience, with diminishing returns for the others. There is no way you can level in areas too high for you either as every mob in your vicinity will come to kill you and you still gain nothing from it.
I love this! I find it so relaxing to listen to when i don't have the time to play myself, but need some Lotro in my life 😛 subbed
keyboard noise is easy to fix … don't use it 😉
Thank you for making and posting these. I got involved with playing LOTRO via Mythgard Institute, but have been struggling with learning the game. Your series is very helpful. And you have a great voice for doing these. Thank you again.
I have not seen may LOTRO let's plays. I do like what you are doing.
This is unbelievably ambitious of you, but I applaud you for the undertaking. While I like the commentary at the beginning as you explain your purpose, etc – I find the reading of the NPC dialogue to be distracting and takes me out of the game world.
I started this game this time last year and I am only level 42. I agree with what you say about taking your time. This is the ultimate chill out game. Now I just need to find a good Kinship.
i am lvling my dwarf champion, im taking it slow and steady. im reading all the quest text and finish every deed in the zone before i leave. i am currently lvl 49 in misty mountains. in goblintown
You sound like Sam from the movies 😀
This series is the reason I've just subscribed 🙂
Thank you so so much. I almost quit the game because it is a little hard for me. You have encouraged me. I love how you take the time to show the gaming. Thank you 🙏🏻
no pay to win or anything like that, right? i absolutely hate that
Hi! My name is Italo and ive just started playing this game, and thats cuz i like the lotr universe and not cuz im a MMORPG pro player. I´d like to ask if this series still available for a begginer, or maybe the game changed so much in the meaning time that it wont be very usefull for me as a new player.
Ty!
This game feels like home, no other game is like that, i cant really describe it in words its something sepecial. Best community i have ever seen, no one will be toxic, people will gift you stuff they will always try to help you can have friendly banters with anyone. The quests are always fun to do, good storys, the graphics are ofc old and a bit outdated but in my opinion its still the mosit beautifull game that exists, just simply because how much detail tehre is in the landscapes in the forests, all the npcs and literally everything. Perfect game in my opinion, only negative thing is the low player base, therefor you can almost only do group content at max level which kind of sucks. Also pvp is super unbalanced. But its a super big game with a fantastic story. Dont get scared away cause of the monthly subscription thing. I myself bought all the expentions in a steam sale pack for really low money, and you can play almost the entire game and easily get to max level without having a subscription at all. Just wait for a sale and get the expantions. Also if you get a 1 month subscription just for once most of the pay wall things will go away for ever, for all of your characters.
Ok im a liiiitle late, but im currently downloading the game (since 12 hours…) but its almost done :D.
I cant wait to play it, this is gonna be my seccond MMORPG (First one was WOW which i bought 13 days ago, but i hate the level scaling system (Enemys level up with you) and so leveling and getting better gear feels completly useless, because the enemys just get stronger too!
so im pretty hyped to finnaly play a mmorpg that is not about the "Endgame" but more about the Journey!
this part is always my favorite you walk down the road and lo and behold The Fellowship of The Rings shows up. Minutes later after they leave the Nazgul arrive and you have to dodge them and fight Spiders and Bandits. Once you get knocked out you land up in jail in Bree and the Nazgul are burning the town. And who else comes through the door to save you? King Aragorn himself. Listen to his words and head to Archet this will be your temporary base until you get back to Hobbiton.
I'm a burgalar hobbit and lvl 11 my name is voldone i downloaded this game like 5 days ago
I am re-watching your videos. I am been trying to find you for quite a while and I finally found your channel, again.
Love what you are doing, I picked up your last episode and love your approach so now I'm starting to follow you at episode 1…Cheers and Thank you for this wonderful project.
This is a incredible game I haven't played it in years but this game is awesome and the king gram games are flawless I just wanted to say that
I am starting in 2020
Hey bro, greetings, just let me say that your video´s intro is awesome. the monk remember me, the name of the rose. LOTRO is a great game, i´ll try to see all gameplay to follow the thread. Anyway great video. Please continue the walktrought in LOTRO. Thank u. New sub.
I haven't even watched any walkthroughs on this game but I can feel the nostalgia already
Have a like in 2020.
I'm late to this party. I started Lotro in July 2007. I've taken long breaks while I was playing WoW, but I love Lotro's atmosphere. I just started back again. Looking forward to watching this series.
Subscribed! Awesome idea, just got into lotro, reminds me of d&do , but i prefer lotro! Can’t wait to watch this playlist!
my mom introduced me to the game, she was with someone named LT, lord tariel or something like that.
you sound like TheProfessional a bit
Watching this series is going to be quite the project and maybe I'm a bit late but I really can't wait! I always wanted to play this game, I even bought it on release but shortly after the payment for the sub failed and I was too young to figure it out. Life got so busy and I haven't had a good PC in a very long time, so I decided to watch through the game instead.
Are you still planning on making more videos in the series?
Been watching this series on and off since I subscribed like 2 years ago, but just decided to watch it in its' entirety since I saw you've taken a break before Rohan. Gonna make a character on Brandywine and level along with your playthrough since you catch all the deeds. Thanks for this channel and your website man, your content is highly underrated.
Haven’t begun the series yet, but are you planning on also playing the race specific quests?
How much of the game is it's own thing and how much is fan service? (As in, forcing your character into the novel/movie narrative like they were an important part all along?)
I've avoided this game and fear of such fan service is mostly why. Most games based on a specific license are bad about it and most LotR games do it, it seems.
This is like my 4th time starting this series and I love it just as much as my first
Madman
I'd like to see Moria, Angband if that's a location & The Shire, but with both exploration & questing
Thanks for doing this. I haven’t played for about 12 years. I miss it but work and family come first. It’s really nice to see my old stomping grounds. Maybe one day I’ll play again. Gonhiridrim, Thorins Vanguard.
Bowl cuts look appropriate for world
really long adventure!
Man I just want to fucking say. Thank you so much man you make want to fucking play this game I swear to god. Im hype as shit!
This project is amazing, both in concept and realization. Well done.
I've just come across your channel and just starting this playthrough
And I am genuinely excited
Thank you for sharing so much of your passion; i can’t wait to embark on this journey with you 🙂
Can you explore the Gladden Fields and do a history tour on the Hobbits who use to live there like Gollum and can you row or swim all the way from the Auduin River from The Gladden Fields to where The Fellowship dock their boats right before Boromire died and the rest of The Fellowship separated?
Just started looking into lotro due to the new show, happy i found a super long (and still ongoing, props to you) series on the game. Looking forward to watching!
ok l found your newest video and you got my sub and now lm starting from episode one thank god l work from home as this is going to be a long one
I cant believe this mad lad has done 700+ videos for this series
kudos, mate, you are a gamer chad
Now you can start over as Dwarf Warden
Starting episode one, I'm starting this journey.
I love LOTRO, I'm so passionate about it and so glad to see people playing it. I don't mind your long-form video. That's how LOTRO is meant to be played!
