IGN Plays Sackboy: A Big Adventure’s Online Multiplayer

Sackboy: A Big Adventure’s latest patch (1.03) just added online multiplayer support! Join IGN’s Max Scoville, Brian Altano, Sydnee Goodman, and Akeem Lawanson as they work together (mostly) to make it through the game via co-op thanks to the power of the internet.

We’re tackling different levels throughout the game including: Soaring Summit’s Ready Yeti Go, Kingdom of Crablantis’ Ferried Treasure, and Colossal Canopy’s Centipedal Force. Their custom Sackboy’s are taking on the dangerous Vex on each leg of their journey. And as it turns out, working together in this platformer is harder than they thought. Patch 1.03 introduces Sackboy: A Big Adventure’s online multiplayer and requires PlayStation Plus. The game supports crossplay between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. In addition game saves transfer from the PS4 version to PS5.

  1. No one including you has whatched the video right now!

  2. This is the famous “Online” feature? Well that’s disappointing… Bring back the Pod and Custom Community Player Level Designing

  3. I'm confused… I thought this game already had online support

  4. I won't get this game until its $9.99 or ps+

  5. Someday I'll get a PS5 and be able to play this.

  6. I hate how they explain "online feature" in the beginning like is something brand new

  7. I rlly don't like the camera views.

  8. That's the thing, this is going to.blow your mind… this is fantasy, lol

  9. Does anyone know if the cosmetic costumes from 1,2 and 3 carry over? I used to spend a boatload of money on the first two games

  10. It looks like they recorded that last year, and just posted now… I think the game is already on 1.04

  11. In case anyone was wondering, Max and Brian are on PSNProfiles, but of course their accounts are private.

  12. The only thing I got out of this was Max saying “Cactuses”

  13. The multiplayer is terrible. The lag is insane
