Adventure Quest 3D is a re-imagining of the original web browser game, It’s a cross platform MMORPG that allows people to play together from PC, Mac, Andriod or iOS, This game initially released in early access on Steam back in 2016 and due to seeing more people request it recently I’ve decided now is the time to jump in and see if it’s any good, as of making this video the game is sitting at mostly positive reviews overall and seems to have a fairly stable player population

you dont have to unlock classes with dragon gems i dont know if you have updated it but there are quests to unlock the other classes other then gaurdian i believe
This game is really good especially if you are on the go just playing on mobile casually for fun yeah I know pure evil … having fun
This was the first game I learned to make a email address for back when i was in school
The artists working on this game carry it so heavily, they honestly do a really good job making armor/weapons across all levels have something that looks badass.
I saw Breaking Benjamin live, and out of all their amazing original songs, they performed 80% as a cover band. I was disappointed.
This game has improved a lot in a year

I freakin hope the asia server in this game is better than albion dude. I freakin abandoned my clan for this even tho i can re download it. I just want to play fine without any buffering

Just got it, love this video. Looks great. Is it worth it for me to spend $50 in support? Obviously the items are a plus, but I believe in their mission as a FTP. Are the items worth going that far or is the $20 package worth it?

AQ3D had me hooked at first, but it quickly became mindless and repetitive.
You will be killing the same two enemies ad infinitum. Or fetching something. Does it get better? Barely. This was fine in 2D games like AQW. But not 3D. Lazy.

i just downloaded that yesterday and to be honest the game is fun 🙂
Not sure if u played the original AQWorlds, but this games mechanics seem to run very similarly too it. AQ used to be a 2d game, and Im assuming they took most of the aspects of the combat system from that game and moved it over into the 3d one. Not sure why, Im not complaining, but it's an interesting decision on their part. From what I remember about AQWorlds, the beginning classes and enemies feel pretty casual. But once you get into the game, there are more complicated classes that require strategy to use effectively and enemies with unique attack patterns that you have to learn and prepare for. I remember there being an enemy that would instant-kill you if you attacked it at a certain time or if you didnt deal enough damage in a certain window, so it was very important to pay attention. And also since its an MMO, there are tanks, healers, adc, etc. So the bigger and badder bosses will require teamwork and strategy to overcome as well. But again, thats assuming they implemented ALL the mechanics from the original into the 3D. But, I didnt see a Healer as a starting class, so, maybe they didnt? Idk!
But the game does look enjoyable, especially if youre fan of the older games. Im glad you did this review as I was skeptical of whether this game would live up to its predecessor.

This game has one of the best soundtracks of any game ever in my opinion. Makes the game evenore enjoyable.
Their browser MMO was the peak at its time. I would come back from school and log in everyday.

So, right now, starting the game you can actually swap between all starter classes, whenever you want ( warrior-mage-rogue and healer)
The other classes you can unlock by doing quests, like Robina that give you access to the Ranger class around level 3, Necro around level 8, etc …
I admit the combats are simple, but for me, being able to switch to any class you want, all the time, is pretty valuable.
Even in PVP, you can switch class between combats…
Your gear works whatever the class as well. (which is handy, but weird, throwing spells with a sword in hand, or dual wield rogue with staffs xD)
At the moment, we have access to the 20th anniversary quests ; these are crazy amazing B-Horror movies style maps, with each a different theme.
Some are just, plain ridiculous xD Cosmetics just get crazier and crazier
I like how they are not greedy and find inventive ways to promote musicians, streamers, games, etc.
Like, you meet a character named "Voltaire" which is a NPC in a map, but he is actually the real life musician doing the background music you are listening too, and selling his album.
Or a streamer that get a complete psychedelic map dedicated to him xD
so yeah, like somebody else said here, ADQ3 got a lot a personality, feels like a labor of love, community ands devs are awesome. Updates every week, live events, etc.
I actually feel happy to pay to encourage them 😀
